Your Season Newsletter 2

Hi there!

This week I've been working on keyword optimisation, preparing my financial statements, and setting up servers. It isn't always terribly exciting, but I am dedicated to creating the best business I possibly can from the start, and that means applying myself to these starting steps.

CHALLENGE THIS WEEK: I CAN ONLY DO SO MUCH AT ONCE

I have SO MANY updates and developments that I want to have incorporated on the website - YESTERDAY, but all good things take time.

Some of the developments in the pipeline over the next year are menswear, shoes, and accessories.

After the incredible news last week of both Birdsnest AND Petal and Pup signing up as affiliates, I am so frustrated that I can't already have the items up on the website for you!!

The web development team is currently working on how to automate integrating items from our affiliate sites. This will be an absolute GODSEND as soon as it's ready to go.

Here is a little sneak peek into what the official website will look like when it launches in November:

In the current proof of concept, you need to use drop-down menus, but in the MVP (Minimum Viable Product), all the clothing will be on the first page, and you just need to filter for your season/other parameters (e.g. Menswear, Price Range, etc.) in the top left-hand corner.

WIN FOR THE WEEK: GRIFFIN ACCELERATOR STARTED

A large chunk of this year has been preparing to apply for the Griffin Accelerator, which runs from September to December. Being accepted into this accelerator is a huge honour, and gives me invaluable access to mentoring and support from business owners and investors, and a dedicated space to work on Your Season. I joke that it started the day after the pitches (28th August), because I immediately got in touch with my head mentor Harry Hoang, and Supporting Mentor Anne-Marie Perrett, and have been working extremely hard on all their amazing feedback leading up to the course officially starting yesterday.

I'm looking forward to some incredible growth over the next few months!
